I have had the absolute pleasure of being involved in creating and developing a new concept store for The Princes Trust, who are an amazing charity that help support and change the lives of young people. And for the past year, we’ve been working together to come up with a way of celebrating all the good work they do. A big part of the Princes Trust is their Enterprise programme, which helps and supports young people who want to set up their own businesses. A lot of these young businesses are relatively unknown, and don’t yet have a presence on the Great British high street. So we decided to build them a space to sell their products and get some well deserved recognition.
Located at Eldon Street, between Liverpool Street and Moorgate tube stations, Tomorrow’s Store, will be entirely stocked by young entrepreneurs who have set up in business with support from The Prince’s Trust Enterprise programme. All profits will be reinvested in The Prince’s Trust to fund more programmes to help young people.
Each month the store will change and transform to house a different group of young entreprenuers and thier businesses. They are the designers, entrepreneurs and pioneers of tomorrow so be sure to keep going down every month to meet them and find out about their products.
This month you’ll find Sam Edkins and his fabulous furniture. Please pop down and take a look…and every purchase you make really will help support the young talent of tomorrow.
