The SS17 Fashion Week makeup look we want to try right now

Never mind that it’s nearly autumn. Right now, the makeup trends for next summer are being presented at Fashion Week, and you better believe we’ll be wearing them all. There’s the usual display of sun-kissed skin, but one beauty look we’ve spied feels perfect for any season, and we’re ready to try it out ASAP.

It’s the winged-out eyeshadow, worn in an array of shades from blue to bronze. The effect is ultra-dramatic and suitably bold for the colder months. All you have to do to adapt it to autumn is rock it in a deeper hue, and pair it with an impactful mascara, like Scandaleyes Reloaded, £6.99.

To get the look on your lids, try using Scandaleyes Shadow Stick by Kate in Pure Turquoise or Deep Amethyst, £4.49 each, from the lash line to the socket. Apply the colour free form for an effortless, impactful finish, and either leave the edges crisp or feel free to smudge it out with a dense, flat eyeshadow brush to make it sultry.

Add your mascara and a little bit of Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl in Black, £3.99, in the upper waterline to define your eye, then balance your bold eye with Kate 15 Lasting Finish Lipstick in My Nude, £6.49, on your lips.

Finally, brighten up your under-eyes to really enhance the lid look with a light-reflecting concealer like Wake Me Up Concealer, £5.49. And, now you’re way ahead of the trends.
